Travis Kauffman DOAbdominal Imaging Fellowship

Dr. Kauffman received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Kansas City University in 2015. His radiology residency was completed at the University of Missouri - Kansas City in 2020. He also completed an Abdominal Imaging Fellowship at Duke University in 2021. Dr. Kauffman is board eligible by the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Kauffman is a Kansas City native who loves vacationing at the Lake of the Ozarks. He has mad bar-be-que skills, but his talents don’t stop there! He has an amazing voice, and he once won a karaoke contest against a finalist from The Voice. If you hear “Jump Around” by House of Pain while you are at Element, it may be our own Dr. Kauffman singing his winning song – but please don’t dance during your exam!

Luke Wilson MDMusculoskeletal Fellowship

Dr. Wilson graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1999. He completed his Radiology Residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2004. He completed a Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2005. Dr. Wilson specializes in Diagnostic and Musculoskeletal Radiology, and he has a particular interest in sports injuries. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Wilson enjoys running, golfing and traveling with his family. He is a retired and accomplished triathlete, having competed in the Ironman World Championship twice in Kona, HI.

Kenneth Koontz MDDiagnostic & Neuroradiology

Dr. Koontz graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1985. He served his internship in surgery and his Radiology Residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1990. Dr. Koontz specializes in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology, and he has completed his Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology.

In his personal life, Dr. Koontz is quite the outdoorsman! He enjoys fishing and scuba diving with his two sons.

Timothy Mihalovich MDMusculoskeletal Fellowship

Dr. Mihalovich earned his Medical Doctor Degree in 2001, and he completed an internship in Internal Medicine in 2002, both at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. In 2006, Dr. Mihalovich completed a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology from Duke University, and he completed a Fellowship in Muskuloskeletal Radiology in 2007, also from Duke University.

Dr. Mihalovich comes from a family of entrepreneurs. In his spare time, he supports his wife and kids in their business ventures.

James Bergh MDNuclear Medicine Fellowship

Dr. Bergh earned His Medical Doctor Degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1987. He completed an Internal Medical Residency in 1987 and a Diagnostic Radiology Residency in 1992, both from the University of Kansas Medical Center. He also completed a Fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Center in 1988. Dr. Bergh is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Nuclear and Internal Medicine, and he holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

In addition to being a highly educated and experienced radiologist, Dr. Bergh has an explosive talent! The 4th of July is Dr. Bergh’s favorite holiday, and every year he hosts an amazing party complete with a professional quality fireworks display. He even holds a Federal Fireworks License!
