Element Medical Imaging is proud to introduce the first and only nonhospital affiliated outpatient PET/CT in Kansas City and the Midwest region.
Overland Park, KS – Element Medical Imaging proudly announces its groundbreaking achievement as the only outpatient diagnostic medical imaging center in the Midwest to offer PET/CT (Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography) services. This milestone achievement creates local and regional patient access to an advanced imaging modality commonly used in the diagnosis of cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. This advancement underscores Element Medical Imaging’s commitment to provide a full portfolio of accessible and exemplary imaging services to the entire community.
PET/CT is an advanced diagnostic medical imaging technology that provides unique cellular insight into the human body. This sophisticated diagnostic tool is used to detect, evaluate and stage disease of organs and/or tissues, including cancer, with exceptional precision. With Element’s new convenient location, easily accessible facility and timely appointments, patients and healthcare providers will benefit from prompt and accurate assessments.
